About Wings of Psyche

Psyche is the Greek Goddess of the Soul whose name represents the human mind, spirit, and transformation. In Greek folklore, she is often symbolized as a butterfly, which is the primary motif of this collection.

The inspiration

The inspiration for Wings of Psyche was derived from the delicate yet exquisite beauty of these creatures. One series of headdresses in this collection, for example, is made from velvet fabric that intends to mimic the suave feeling of butterfly wings. I used floral patterns, beads, and sequins to give each piece elegance and sophistication that can be passed down to the wearer.
